These were the innocent victims that were arrested during this time of the Montgomery Bus Boycott arrested by the same reason and were under the inlfuence of Rosa Parks.
Right here in this picture it shows the document that was showing how all this was spreading sharing how MLK ( Martin Luther King Jr.) Martin Luther king worked with Rosa parks so that they can end all this segregation together they wanted it all to end forever they were so tired of being treated so differently when they were human like every other race whites thought that they were the best . Parks found every way possible to end this even though she was arrested she did everything she could to fix this she believed they all had voice and and to share what they thought was right and stand up for themselves
HISTORICAL CONTEXT: During the time around when the Civil Rights Movement was occurring, a lot of segregation was going on. There were restrooms that were seperated for colored people and then there was certain restrooms for the white. There was also different schools they had to go to, different water fountains they had to drink out of. On the public buses The white people had the opportunity to sit in the front while the colored had to sit in the back. If there was a white man standing, someone with a different skin color had to give up their seat. That is how it all started, Rosa Parks decided not to give her seat up when asked because she did not think it was fair for her being a hard worker who walks everywhere all day to have to give up her seat just because there wasn't any left. She believed if you wanted to give your seat up, it should be a choice a requirement. This became a turning point because it persuaded people to end the segregation and to this day we are no longer living our lives based on segregation.
In this picture it shows how the blacks had to stand up and couldn't sit down even if there was an open seat in the front of the bus.
